Jasmine is a multi-disciplinary artist- most notably as a Playwright, Director, and Performer.
She is a graduate of University of Maryland, College Park's School of Theatre, Dance, Performance, Studies, where she recieved her B.A. in Theatre. Her work centers faith-based stories that highlight the experience of Black women and Black families. Jasmine firmly believes that theatre can be a tool for creating social change outside of the political arena, because it gives audiences a glimpse into life experiences they wouldn't otherwise see.
Received honorable mention from the KCACTF Stage Director’s and Choreographers competition.
Performed the role of Agnes in the world premiere of She Kills Monsters: Virtual Realms.
